Paul Clark served as Chief Information Officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and global Chief Information Security and Privacy Executive for global Corporation EDS.
As Chief Information Officer, Paul was responsible for the delivery of internal technology services to EDS business units in EMEA. As Chief Information Security and Privacy Executive, Paul was responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of global information security and privacy policies to the EDS community of 138,000 people across 60 countries.
Through his career within the IT industry Paul has change-managed his organisations through multiple evolutions of change, from mainframe, to distributed to outsourcing, and is currently a leading exponent of ‘Competitive Optimisation’ – the combination of outsourcing and insourcing of IT resources and corporate processes to retain and develop corporate differentiators, while minimising low-value utility costs.
As Managing Director of Base-Sys plc. Alan was responsible for setting the overall business strategy to develop what was the first computerised broker software system. Alan pioneered early adoption of quotation systems by brokers within the UK. Developed and grew the business before selling to Misys. Subsequently worked in senior business development roles for both CSC and LogicaCMG selling solutions into the financial services market.
David Evans
David was a Director and CIO for Aon Group worldwide. Prior to joining Aon David worked in a variety of industries at Board and Senior Management positions in the UK and overseas. He has a mixture of senior financial, commercial and IT experience and has a track record of implementing major change within companies.
